Spring Break is just around the corner. Here are a few tips for keeping it classy!
-Do not under any circumstance get in a car with a stranger.
-Can you see Audrey Hepburn or Grace Kelly entering themselves in a wet tshirt contest? I don't think so!
-Always be aware of your surroundings... which means don't chug to many margaritas.
-This is where we differ from Jacky O...she never would have taken her drink to the dance floor. Keep your drink in hand at all times and never leave it unattended.
-If your going to a hot climate re-apply the SPF so the rest of your trip is not ruined by a lobster burn and you'll thank me later for wrinkle free skin.
-Don't forget to pack a bathing suit, cover up, light reading, and toothbrush in your carry on in case your luggage gets lost.
Have fun and be safe!

Thank you for all the tips! I am going to a place with hot weather, Mexico! I am so excited but I also understand how I have to be careful going there expecally right now because of everything that is happening in that country. My parents are making me go see the movie Taken. Taken is about a girl that went to a foreign country and did nothing wrong but something still happened to her and she was taken. I think this is a good idea about going to see the movie because I think that it is always important to know how dangerous it is to go somewhere one has never been before. I have never been to this part of mexico and I am glad a big group of us are going together and we can watch out for each other! Anyways thanks for all the tips I promise ill wear sunscreen!
ReplyDeleteGood advice, and great style!
ReplyDeleteKrystal, I just got back from my spring break vacation in Cabo, and thanks to all of your great tips I have returned to Dallas alive, rested and NOT sunburned! While I certainly followed your advice, I saw many who certainly did not. Walking the beautiful beaches of Cabo during the day I saw girls (even ones who I knew) acting completely ridiculously in wet tshirt contests and beer chugging contests galore. Wow! If only their parents could see the way that they were acting. What got me even more were the girls who's parents were there cheering them on! I don't know about you, but my parents would never be okay even thinking that I might be in a contest to chug the most beer in Mexico. At night it was a whole new dilemma for many girls who I saw chatting it up with unknown men, and some even leaving in taxis alone with them at the end of the night. Of course I'm not completely innocent in flirting with a few cute boys from different schools, but leaving by yourself with someone you don't know is just a horrible idea! Sure, the thrill of the old saying "what happens in Cabo, stays in Cabo," but with the scary drug wars going on right now, I was incredibly cautious of trusting people who I didn't know. Thankfully, I was in a fairly large group of both girls and guys, so we were all able to stick together. Overall, spring break was an absolute blast and I wish I was still there, but I appreciate your pre-vacation tips, and can't wait to read your classy advice in the near future!
